On this joyous occasion of Easter, we join the Angels in announcing the Good News of our Salvation, “He has risen” (Matthew 28:6).
We are pleased to publish the comprehensive paper on Catholic Safeguarding Institute’s Tripod of Relational Safety Model (The Tripod Framework), authored by Maria Carmen Bonto-La Viña, PhD, and Coleen Rae Ramirez-Panahon.
Our commitment to safeguarding invites us to be extraordinary witnesses to the lives of children, the elderly, vulnerable adults, and all the People of God. In this work, we see how the Lord is truly alive and risen, bringing light into the most difficult spaces.
Since 2017, the Catholic Safeguarding Institute (CSI) has responded to the crises of abuse within our church by listening to the stories of the victims and actively participating in building a culture of relational safety in our communities. CSI engages on a fundamental principle, that every person, as a creature of God, is gifted with inherent dignity and grace.
The Tripod Framework is a transformative tool intended to facilitate the conversion of hearts and the transformation of people, communities, and cultures. It serves as vital resource for an integrated safeguarding response viewed through these three essential perspectives:
- Safe Self
- Safe Community
- Safe Ministry
May the grace of Christ’s Resurrection propel us to be bold witnesses to His Mission, proclaiming God’s love and mercy for all.
